Classic Sherry Finish

Our deep and complex sherry cask finish richly illustrates our expertise in marrying casks, a skill we’ve been honing since our distillery was founded more than 120 years ago. We begin by maturing our spirit in American oak casks, for our traditional Speyside style. Then when the whisky is ready, we finish our single malt for several months in Oloroso sherry casks, sourced by our Master Distiller from Jerez in Spain. Our single malt emerges from those sherry casks filled with notes of dried fruity, nuts and spice, to be savoured both by long-time single malt fans and those who are new to whisky.

NOSE
Sun dried fruits, toasted cinnamon and toffee candy.
TASTE
Sweet vanilla oak, dark chocolate and oriental spice.
FINISH
Mouth tingling warm spice combines with bittersweet dark chocolate to deliver a long rich satisfying finish.
